A New International Link
In conformity with our systematic approach
of establishing educational links both re gionally and
internationally, and for being one of the most distinguished
academic institutes, Al-ANJAL PRIVATE SCHOOL has once more
been selected by the British Council to enter into a new
link with Grosvenor Grammar School of Ireland. The new
Project " ME-UK Classroom Connection" basically aims to
help the involved schools to exchange classroom experience.
Dr. Awad Allo, the Administrative Manager, participated in
the introductory meeting , held for three days in Bahrain.
In one of the workshops, Mr. Paul Andrews, the British
educational expert, highlighted some important points
including:
1. The British educational system, exams,
compulsory courses, optional courses, independency of school
financing, financial support and decentralized
administration.
2. Connecting classrooms in a way that will
encourage the exchange of experiences and support an
international educational partnership between reputable
schools from Britain, Ireland and the Middle East.
3. Proposing some joint educational
projects like:

quality education from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman. The
forthcoming stage will be exchanging information and ideas
and getting into the link between participating schools.
Al-Anjal, Jazeerat Al-Olum and Grosvenor Grammar School from
Irealnd are linked together. Our students have already begun
their contributions in the link by writing to their peers in
Grosvenor about themselves and about a day in their lives.
